    Indian Woman Sarabjit Kaur Goes Missing in Pakistan After Pilgrimage Trip

    Kapurthala: A woman from Kapurthala district, Punjab, has gone missing in Pakistan. She had gone there to visit religious sites. The entire group has returned, but the woman has not yet returned home. She had provided incomplete information to the Pakistan immigration office upon her departure.

    The woman, Sarabjit Kaur, is a resident of Amanipur village, Dakka Khana Tibba, in Kapurthala district. She had accompanied the group on a 10-day trip to Pakistan to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

    Went with a group of devotees

    According to Indian immigration records, Sarabjit Kaur had gone to Pakistan via the Attari border on November 4th with a group of 1932 devotees to celebrate the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. But today, after a 10-day journey and visiting various Gurudwaras in Pakistan, when the last group reached India, this matter came to light. So far, 1922 devotees have returned to their homeland India. Before this, four members of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, including Acting Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, whose family members were ill, had already returned home. But the said woman Sarabjit Kaur did not return home.

    Passport number was not filled in the form

    The investigation also revealed that the Indian woman had left her basic details incomplete in the form filled out at the Pakistani immigration office while joining the group and travelling to Pakistan on November 4, and had not given her nationality or passport number.
