Massive Fire Erupts at Warehouse in Indore’s Khajrana Area

Indore, Madhya Pradesh: A massive fire broke out at a tent warehouse in Indore’s Khajrana area during the early hours of Monday, triggering panic among the locals after thick smoke engulfed the surroundings.

According to reports, the blaze erupted around 3 AM near the Karbala area under Khajrana police station limits and quickly spread to nearby storage units containing highly flammable material. Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot as firefighters launched an extensive operation to control the flames.

Flames Spread Rapidly Across Nearby Warehouses

Officials said the fire started in a tent house godown before spreading to adjoining warehouses within minutes due to the presence of combustible materials stored inside.

Videos from the scene showed massive flames and thick black smoke rising into the sky, while locals gathered in large numbers near the affected area. Authorities said firefighters worked continuously for hours to prevent the blaze from spreading further.

Firefighters Use Advanced Equipment During Rescue Operation

Due to dense smoke and intense heat inside the warehouse, firefighters reportedly faced difficulties entering the premises. Some reports said robotic firefighting equipment was also used during the operation to safely access affected sections of the warehouse.

Police teams from the Khajrana police station also reached the spot and cordoned off the area to ensure public safety.

No Casualties Reported, Cause Yet to Be Known

Authorities confirmed that no casualties or injuries had been reported in the incident so far. However, losses worth lakhs of rupees are feared due to damage to goods stored inside the warehouses.

Officials said the exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined and a detailed investigation will be carried out once the situation is completely under control.
