International Women’s Day: PM Modi’s present, price of LPG Cylinder reduced by Rs 100

New Delhi: On the occasion of International Women’s, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made a big announcement. In a tweet, he said, “Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to reduce LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100. This will significantly ease the financial burden on millions of households across the country, especially benefiting our Nari Shakti.”

He added “By making cooking gas more affordable, we also aim to support the well-being of families and ensure a healthier environment. This is in line with our commitment to empowering women and ensuring ‘Ease of Living’ for them.”

Yesterday, the Union government announced an extension of the subsidy of Rs 300 given to women on cylinder under the Ujjwala Yojana for the current fiscal year.
