Israeli airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon have resulted in at least 34 fatalities and around 80 injuries, according to reports from Beirut on November 24. The National News Agency (NNA) noted that 24 people were killed and 44 injured in eastern Lebanon, particularly in towns like Bodai, Shmustar, Hafir, and Ras al-Ain, as well as in the villages of Flaoui, Brital, Haour Taala, and across the Bekaa Valley region of the Baalbek-Hermel governorate.
In southern Lebanon, 10 fatalities and 36 injuries were reported, primarily from the Nabatieh governorate, along with casualties in the city of Tyre and the Marjeyoun district in the South governorate.
Hezbollah stated that its forces struck several gatherings of Israeli soldiers near the border, targeting areas such as Khiam in Lebanon and Kibbutz Hanita in northern Israel, as well as the Israeli moshavs of Avivim and Dishon. They also engaged in intense clashes with Israeli troops attempting to infiltrate the eastern outskirts of al-Bayyada, reportedly causing Israeli casualties.
Since September 23, the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has escalated, with the Israeli military significantly increasing its airstrikes on Lebanon and initiating a ground operation in the region in early October.
