Amsterdam (US): The people of Indian diaspora especially the Punjabi community celebrated Punjabi Mela successfully. This was the 20th Punjabi Mela in Amsterdam. Punjabi community specially arrange the Punjabi Food as well as the Punjabi cultural activities.
In the Punjabi Mela, football matches were organized for sports lovers, and tug of war matches were also held for children and women. Punjabi singers performed on stage, and both the young and old participated in Bhangra to Punjabi songs.
The organizers Thanks the diaspora for successful 20th Punjabi Mela in Amsterdam. Organizers said that the event was a tremendous success, and we owe it all to our wonderful sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and the vibrant community that came out to celebrate with us.
The weather was fantastic, adding to the joyous atmosphere, and it was heart warming to see everyone enjoying food, cultural activites A special thank you to our invited singer, Davinder Gill from Italy, whose performance was a highlight of the event.
organisers said that a special highlight was the football match, which was incredibly successful. We had four fantastic teams: two from Italy, one from France, and one from Amsterdam. Congratulations to the team from France for taking first place, and the Italian team for securing second place.
