Jerusalem: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they killed Saeed Ahmad Abed Khudari, a significant money exchanger for Hamas, in Gaza City.

The IDF stated that Khudari, who was targeted and killed on Thursday, was identified as “a key terror financing facilitator within Hamas.” He led the Al Wefaq Co. fund, which the Israeli government designated as a terrorist organization for its role in channeling funds to terrorist groups.

The IDF noted that Khudari had been involved in numerous financial transfers to Hamas’ military wing, especially after the events of October 7, 2023. His financial involvement reportedly intensified after the death of his brother, Hamed Khudari, in 2019, who also acted as a primary financial conduit for Hamas’ military activities.

On the same day, the IDF reported the deaths of two other individuals: Mohammed Hassan Mohammed Awad, a senior military commander in the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement implicated in the kidnapping and murder of Israelis, and Mohammed Saleh Mohammed Al-Bardawil, an alleged propaganda operative in Hamas’ military wing.

Israel resumed its air and ground assaults on Gaza after ending a two-month ceasefire with Hamas on March 18. According to Gaza health authorities, the renewed Israeli attacks have resulted in at least 1,249 Palestinian deaths and 3,022 injuries as of Friday.

IDF spokesman Effie Defrin remarked that the army has entered “a new stage” in its operations in Gaza.
