According to the New York Times, 4 thousand firefighters have been deployed to extinguish this fire near Castaic Lake. The wind is blowing at a speed of 48 km per hour here. According to CNN, the fire is spreading so fast that an area equal to a football field is burning every 3 seconds.

According to satellite data, a hotspot was detected near Castaic Lake at 10:45 am local time on Wednesday. Earlier, a fire broke out in the southern forests around Los Angeles on January 7. 25 people lost their lives in it.
