The US Meteorological Department has issued a warning of tornadoes and heavy rains along with hailstorm in these three states today (May 27). Several buildings, power, gas lines, and a fuel station were destroyed by the tornado.

According to the White House, US President Joe Biden is keeping an eye on the entire incident. Rescue team has been sent to the spot. Cities in Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee suffered the most damage. Baseball-sized hail is falling here. Because of this, more than 40 lakh people are living under the shadow of fear. In these states the wind is blowing at a speed of 136 to 165 kilometers per hour.

State of emergency imposed in Arkansas
7 people died due to tornado and heavy rain in Texas on Saturday (May 26). The dead included 4 children. One of them was 2 years old and the other was 5 years old. At the same time, 8 people died due to this in Arkansas. Apart from this, 60 to 80 people are trapped inside the gas station, people have been appealed to come out only after the storm is over.

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has declared a state of emergency. The Governor said in a post that the rescue team is ready to help the people. Louisville Mayor Craig Greenberg said in a post that one person has died in Kentucky.

US officials reported on May 26 that two people had died and 23 were injured in Oklahoma. Claremore City Manager John Ferry said 19 people were injured in the storm in the city.
