A woman out for a walk in Kutna Hora city of Czech Republic has found a treasure of middle age. According to American media Fox News, this woman has found 2 thousand 150 silver coins from the year 1085 to 1107.

According to experts, these coins were made in Prague. From here they must have been imported to Bohemia. The Department of Archeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences said that apart from silver, these coins were made by mixing copper, lead and other fine metals.

Archaeologist Philip Velemsky said that when there was an atmosphere of political instability in the country, this treasure might have been buried in the ground. At that time there was a dispute in the country among the members of the Přemysl dynasty regarding the throne of Prague. In such circumstances, there used to be frequent wars.

Silver coins were hidden in ceramic container
These coins were kept in a ceramic container which got destroyed over time. However, experts managed to discover the lower part of this container. Archaeologist Velimsky has said that this is a once-in-a-decade discovery. Since it was manufactured in the 11th-12th century, its value now cannot be estimated. But still it is like winning a lottery of lakhs.

Czech Republic officials have declared it the biggest discovery of the last decade. At present archaeologists are doing research on these coins. Under this, they will be X-rayed, so that more information can be obtained about the metals used in it. These coins will be kept in an exhibition next year.
