Dharamshala: The scenic city of Dharamshala is all set to witness thrilling cricket action once again as the HPCA Stadium has been selected to host three matches in the Indian Premier League 2026 season. Three Matches Featuring Punjab Kings Announced

According to the second phase of the IPL schedule released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, all three matches in Dharamshala will feature Punjab Kings as the home team. The fixtures are as follows:

• May 11: Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals
• May 14: Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians
• May 17: Punjab Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

These matches are expected to draw large crowds, given the popularity of the teams and the importance of the fixtures in the latter half of the tournament.

Recalling 2025 Season Disruptions

Dharamshala was also allocated three matches during the 2025 IPL season. However, the schedule faced unexpected disruptions due to external circumstances. One of the matches had to be stopped midway, while another was shifted out of the venue. Despite these challenges, the matches that were played saw strong fan turnout and enthusiasm.
