Tehran: Iran has sent 7 conditions to the US via Qatar to end the ongoing conflict and restart talks. According to Iranian officials, Tehran is now awaiting a response from US President Donald Trump.
Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that Qatar has conveyed Iran’s conditions to the US. However, Iran has not yet made public the full list of these seven conditions.
Three Key Conditions Revealed
Rezaei outlined three key demands from Iran. These include an end to fighting on all fronts, the release of Iran’s frozen funds, and the lifting of the US naval blockade.
Iran states that negotiations with the US can resume once these conditions are agreed upon.
Qatar is mediating
Qatar is acting as a mediator to advance talks between Iran and the US. Pakistan is also involved in the negotiations between the two countries.
According to Rezaei, Tehran is now awaiting Trump’s response to the conditions sent through Qatar.
Iran says it is prepared for conflict
The Iranian official also stated that Iran is prepared for a “decisive war” if its conditions are not accepted.
He also claimed Iran’s preparations in the face of another US attack. However, some of the claims regarding Iran’s military preparations and weapons have not been independently confirmed by available reports.
