New Delhi: Investigators probing an alleged ISI-linked terror module have uncovered plans to target a historic temple in Delhi, a crowded dhaba on the Delhi-Sonipat highway, and a military camp in Haryana, according to sources linked to the investigation.

The revelations reportedly emerged during the interrogation of nine alleged operatives arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell under “Gang Bust Operation 2.0.” Officials said one accused had conducted reconnaissance of a historic temple in Delhi and shared photographs and details of the premises with handlers based in Pakistan through social media platforms.

Investigators believe the group planned to target police and paramilitary personnel deployed at the temple to create panic and disruption. The probe also found that the accused were allegedly assigned to carry out a grenade attack at a popular dhaba on the Delhi-Sonipat highway, a location frequented daily by large numbers of people.

Sources further claimed that a military camp in Hisar, Haryana, had also been surveyed, and videos of the area were shared with handlers across the border. Some police stations in Uttar Pradesh were reportedly among the potential targets identified during the investigation.
