After 15 Deaths in Lucknow, Jaipur Seals 13 Coaching Centres, Issues Notices to 24 Institutes

Jaipur: Following the deaths of 15 people in a coaching center fire in Lucknow (UP), the administration in Jaipur is on high alert. On Tuesday, teams from the Jaipur Municipal Corporation and police launched an operation to ensure the safety of students. They inspected fire safety measures at coaching centers.

The Municipal Corporation has sealed 13 coaching institutes and issued fire safety notices to more than 24 other coaching centers. Municipal officials and police are inspecting fire safety equipment, emergency exit routes, and fire NOCs (No Objection Certificates).

According to corporation officials, a large number of students in the city prepare for exams at various coaching institutes, making it crucial to ensure adherence to safety standards to deal with any emergency.

These coaching institutes were sealed.

Kritika Competition, Aravali Classes, Mad Guru, Rajasthan Jet Classes, VGP Classes/JJ Classes, ASP Classes, Class 24, Career Will Offline on Gopalpura Bypass Road were sealed.

Inspection of fire fighting system

During the inspection, officials are checking whether the firefighting systems in the buildings are functioning properly, whether fire safety equipment has expired, whether emergency exits are open and accessible, and whether other necessary safety equipment is present in the building. They have also requested documents related to fire NOCs from the institutions.
