A girl suffered a broken head injury when a swing broke in an apartment park in Jaipur. Her jaw and nose were fractured. The incident occurred at Max Heights Apartments in Suncity on Sikar Road in Harmara. A video of the incident has also surfaced.

SHO Uday Yadav said, “Vijaya Laxmi Sharma, a resident of the apartment, filed a complaint. On Sunday, her niece came to visit with her family. At 4 p.m., her niece’s 12-year-old daughter, Aashi Pareek, went to swing on the swing on the ground floor of the apartment complex.”

Swing Breaks Mid-Air, Girl Injured

The swing suddenly broke while she was swinging, sending her tumbling to the ground. The pipe attached to the swing fell on top of her.

Chaos at the Scene, Family Rushes to Hospital

Hearing the screams of the girl injured by the swing breaking, people on the ground floor rushed to the scene. They somehow pulled the girl out of the swing. Her family took her to the hospital.

The family has filed a complaint at the Harmara police station. They allege that they had complained to the society several times about the maintenance of the swings and other facilities, but the management never paid any attention. This negligence led to the accident.

Residents Blame Society Management

Following the incident, residents of the society were deeply angered. Around 200 families live in the society. They are charged 4,000 rupees per month for maintenance, but nothing is being done to improve the facilities.

It is alleged that the management personnel disappeared from the scene after the accident. Some employees even attempted to wipe away the blood stains from the scene. If timely maintenance had been performed, this accident could have been avoided.

Girl to Undergo Surgery

The girl’s father, Ashwani Pareek, said, “Due to the swing falling, my daughter suffered multiple fractures in her mouth. Her nose bone is also broken. She will undergo major surgery at CK Birla Hospital.”
