Rajasthan, March 26: A grand procession marking Ram Navami will take place in Jaipur on Thursday, with authorities making extensive traffic arrangements to manage large crowds. The Shobha Yatra is expected to pass through key routes in the city’s walled area.
According to local authorities, traffic diversions will be implemented from 2 PM onwards, with several roads remaining closed until midnight. Commuters have been advised to plan their travel and avoid congested routes in the old city area.
Key roads in the walled city will be restricted during the procession to ensure the smooth movement of devotees and maintain law and order. Alternative routes have been designated for regular traffic to minimize inconvenience.
Police personnel have been deployed in large numbers to handle crowd control and ensure safety during the event. Surveillance and monitoring will be carried out throughout the procession route.
