Jalandhar BJP leaders stage protest against Rahul Gandhi for ‘Traitor’ remarks on Bittu

In the Jalandhar West assembly constituency, BJP leaders, led by former MLA Sheetal Angural, staged a strong protest against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and burned his effigy. The protest was held in response to Congress leaders’ calls to describe Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu as a “traitor.” BJP leaders accused Rahul Gandhi of insulting Sikhs and engaging in divisive politics.

During the protest, former MLA Sheetal Angural strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi. She said that Rahul Gandhi had once again hurt the sentiments of the Sikh community. Angural stated that the insult to Sikhs would not be tolerated and that Rahul Gandhi should apologize for his statements.

Leaders rally in support of Ravneet Bittu

BJP leaders defended Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, saying that the Congress party was displaying its petty mentality by calling him a “traitor.” The leaders argued that Bittu comes from a patriotic family and that using such language against him is reprehensible.

During this protest, Sheetal Angural, along with a large number of leaders, including Councillor Rani Bhagat, burned an effigy of the Congress party. Workers gathered in parts of Jalandhar West and raised slogans against the Congress and Rahul Gandhi. The protesters said that the BJP’s protest would continue until the Congress party abandons its divisive policies.
