Fire Breaks Out at Popular Jalandhar Dhaba, Property Damaged; Short Circuit Suspected

Jalandhar: A massive fire broke out on Monday morning at ‘Khana Khazana Vaishno Dhaba,’ located on the 120-Foot Road in Jalandhar. Fortunately, the dhaba was closed at the time of the incident, resulting in no loss of life. However, the fire engulfed and destroyed all the furniture and kitchen equipment inside the establishment.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit was the cause of the fire. Reports indicate that the flames spread rapidly, engulfing the entire dhaba in a matter of moments. Local residents immediately alerted the Fire Department and the police.

Fire Brought Under Control After Hard Effort

Upon receiving the report of the fire, a team from the Fire Department rushed to the scene. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control after a strenuous effort; however, by that time, significant damage had already occurred. It was fortunate that the dhaba was closed when the fire broke out, thereby averting a major tragedy.

Preliminary inquiries point to a short circuit as the probable cause of the fire. However, the Fire Department and the local police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter to accurately determine the exact cause of the fire and to assess the total extent of the damage.
