Speeding Car Collides with Bus on Jalandhar Flyover, Three Seriously Injured

Jalandhar: At approximately 1 a.m., a car travelling on the wrong side of the Jalandhar bus stand flyover collided head-on with an oncoming roadways bus, causing serious injuries to three young men.

Injured Transported to Hospital

The injured, all travelling in the car, were immediately taken to a private hospital in Jalandhar for treatment. The bus driver reported that three passengers aboard the bus were also seriously hurt.

Possible Intoxication of a Car Driver

According to eyewitnesses and the bus driver, the car driver appeared to be drunk, which may have contributed to the collision.

Police Investigate the Cause

Police arrived at the scene promptly, secured the area, and shifted the damaged vehicles to the roadside to prevent traffic disruption. Investigations are underway, with authorities questioning witnesses and the injured to determine the exact cause of the accident.
