Jalandhar: Nephew of BJP leader Sheetal Angural killed with sharp weapon

The nephew of BJP leader Sheetal Angural was murdered in Jalandhar, Punjab. According to the family, he argued with a man. The man then attacked him with a sharp weapon. The accused left him in a critical condition on the road and fled.

The family admitted him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Following the incident, BJP leaders from across the district have arrived at the hospital. A police team has also reached the spot.

Youth murdered in a fight
In Shivaji Nagar, Jalandhar, Angural’s nephew, Vikas (17), got into an argument over a matter. The accused, identified as Kalu, attacked him with a sharp weapon, inflicting multiple wounds. BJP leader Angural said that he received a call around 10 pm on Friday informing him that Vikas had been attacked.

When he reached the scene, Vikas was lying there covered in blood. He was immediately admitted to Joshi Hospital near Kapurthala Chowk, where he died. Vikas was the eldest in his family.

BJP leaders from the district arrive at the hospital
Following the information, BJP leader Sheetal Angural and his cousin Rajan Angural have reached the hospital. Procedures for claiming the body are underway. Several other BJP leaders from the district have also arrived at the hospital. Police from Police Station No. 5 are investigating the case. The police say that an investigation is underway, and the motive for the murder is not yet clear.
