Bomb Threat Triggers Panic in Two Jalandhar Schools, Parents Rush to Pick Up Children

Jalandhar: Bomb threat spread panic in St. Joseph’s School and Ivy World School in Jalandhar, Punjab. Upon receiving the threat, the school management called parents as a precaution and asked them to take their children back, due to which a large number of panicked parents were forced to rush to the schools.

Parents panicked, crowd gathered outside the schools

Panic spread in both the schools as soon as the news of the bomb threat spread. Worried about the safety of their children, parents immediately reached the schools and took them with them. It is worth noting that such threats have been received in schools in Amritsar before.

Police have not confirmed the threat

Jalandhar police have not yet officially confirmed the bomb threat, but on receiving information, police and security agencies reached the spot and started assessing the situation. A search operation is underway in the school premises.

KMV School Principal Receives Threatening Call

According to reports, the principal of KMV School received a threatening call. The college campus was immediately evacuated after receiving the call, which created chaos in the administration.

Police involved in investigation

It is said that the principal immediately informed the police after receiving the bomb threat. The police reached the spot and started an investigation trying to ascertain the authenticity and source of the threatening call.

Security increased, situation under monitoring

The police administration has tightened security around the schools. As of now, there is no confirmation of the discovery of any suspicious object, but all necessary precautionary measures are being taken.
