Jalandhar: 3 minors girls including two sisters missing under suspicious circumstances

Three minor girls went missing under suspicious circumstances on Monday evening in Jalandhar’s Sunder Nagar area. They include two sisters (12 and 13 years old) and their 16-year-old friend. Police found CCTV footage showing the three leaving their home around 1:30 pm, and a search is underway. This incident occurred in Sunder Nagar, Jalandhar.

Three teenage girls living in the same quarter have suddenly disappeared. Among the missing girls are two sisters studying in the fourth and fifth grades. The family discovered the disappearance when they returned from work on Monday evening. Not finding the children at home, they searched the area extensively, but when they failed to find any clues, they immediately informed the police.

Clue Found in CCTV Footage

Upon receiving the information, ACP North Ashok Meena and a police team from Police Station Division Number 8 arrived at the scene. Police began examining CCTV cameras installed in the area. During the investigation, footage emerged showing the three girls leaving the house around 1:30 pm on Monday afternoon.

According to the family, they went to work as usual in the morning, and when they returned at 5:30 in the evening, the house was empty. ACP North Ashok Meena stated that action was immediately initiated after receiving information from the control room. Several police teams are searching for the girls.

Police officials say they are investigating the case from every angle, and appropriate legal action is being taken as per the rules. Other CCTV cameras in the area are also being scanned to trace their route.
