Pregnant Woman, Husband Assaulted by Bouncers Outside Jalandhar Travel Agency Over ₹3.42 Lakh Visa Dispute

Jalandhar: A shocking incident has surfaced from Jalandhar, Punjab, where a pregnant woman and her husband were allegedly brutally assaulted by bouncers outside a travel agency over a visa refund dispute. A video of the incident has gone viral, showing a man being severely beaten while screaming for help.

The police from Station No. 7 reached the spot and have launched an investigation into the matter.

₹3.42 Lakh Taken for Minor Visa, No Visa Issued

Ramandeep Kaur, a resident of Moga, alleged that Aman Madam, associated with Kingdom Consultants located on Garha Road, Jalandhar, had promised to arrange a minor visa for her child.

According to her, she paid a total of ₹3,42,000 for the visa process. However, even after one year, the visa was not granted.

False Promise of Refund if Visa Not Approved

The woman claimed that the travel agent had assured her that if the visa was not granted, the entire amount would be refunded within a month.

Despite the visa not being issued, she alleged that the money has not been returned for the past three months. Instead, the agent allegedly kept giving new dates for repayment, including a deadline in February.

“I Am Pregnant, Yet I Was Pushed and Threatened”

Ramandeep Kaur alleged that when she and her husband visited the office on February 11 to demand their refund, the situation escalated.

“I am pregnant, yet I was intimidated and pushed. I was abused and threatened when I started recording a video,” she claimed. She further alleged that the agent and staff misbehaved and crossed all limits despite her condition.

Husband Allegedly Beaten with Iron Rods by Bouncers

The woman alleged that when her husband refused to leave without receiving their money, the travel agent called in bouncers.

According to her complaint, the bouncers publicly assaulted her husband outside the office, hitting him on the head with iron rods. The attack reportedly caused severe bleeding from his head. A video of the incident shows several men beating him while bystanders gather around.

Staff Escaped by Jumping Over Wall

As the commotion increased outside the second-floor office located in Choti Baradari on Garha Road, police arrived at the scene.

The woman alleged that during the chaos, the travel agency staff locked the office, exited through the back door, climbed onto a wall, and jumped over it to escape.

Police Investigation Underway

Police from Station No. 7 reached the spot, controlled the situation, and later rounded up the bouncers following Ramandeep Kaur’s complaint.

Officials assured that the entire matter would be thoroughly investigated. They stated that efforts would be made to recover the money from the travel agent and that appropriate legal action would be taken against those found guilty.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
