Counting of votes has started from around 8 am today i.e. Saturday for the by-election on Jalandhar West assembly seat in Punjab. The first trend will come at 9 am and by 2 pm the whole situation will be clear as to who won the said seat. The low voting percentage has raised the concern of all the parties.

Only 54.90% votes were cast in the voting held on July 10. This vote percentage has been the lowest in the last nearly three decades. There is a triangular contest on this seat.
