James Cambridge International School Hosts Two-Day Annual Festival “Courage to Rise” in Hoshiarpur

Hoshiarpur, Punjab: James Cambridge International School, for the first time in Hoshiarpur, presented a two-day annual festival with the stage and dance performance “Courage to Rise.”

The annual festival at James Cambridge International School, ranked No. 1 in Hoshiarpur, was held with great pomp, enthusiasm, and grandeur.

The program, “Courage to Rise,” the courage to rise above difficulties, was presented as a story-based theme. Through this program, the students conveyed the message that life requires the ability to accept both defeat and victory, that every moment is a path filled with struggle, and that everyone has to walk this difficult path.

Dignitaries Grace the Event; Students Deliver Spectacular Performances

The program was presented in a unique way. District Collector Madam Anshika Jain was the chief guest, while Sonalika Industries Vice Chairman Mr. Amrit Sagar Mittal and former MP Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna attended as special guests.

Present on the occasion were Mr. K.K. Vasal, President of Vasal Education, Mr. Sanjeev Vasal, Chairman, Mr. Ina Vasal, Vice President, Mr. Raghav Vasal, CEO, Madam Aditi Vasal, Director, Dr. R.K. Vasal, MD of Vasal Healthcare, and Madam Sonia Vasal, Director.

The chief guest and other dignitaries were welcomed with bouquets, and the program began with the lighting of lamps. The program began with a Ganesh Vandana performance. The young children of Grade 3 performed captivating dance moves, filling the atmosphere with devotion.

This spectacular show, depicting the various facets of life, was curated by renowned Bollywood choreographer Mr. Umashankar Khilnani.

The children of Grade 5 presented a captivating performance of Western retro dance, with Mama Mian, Daddy Cool, Grease Latning, and Hammer Group showcasing glimpses of Western dance. Grade 6 students performed a beautiful dance with basketball.

Grade 7 students enthralled the audience with their performances of “Jahaan Ho Pyar Ka Mausam,” a contemporary group, and the Lamp group enthralled the audience with their performances of “Message of Peace.” The “Shaan-e-Tiranga” dance showcased patriotic fervor and passionate expressions, and captivating scenes of patriotism.

The “Devi Nritya” dance, featuring beautiful glimpses of Indian classical dance through Chhau, inspired immense devotion and faith in God among the audience.

It is noteworthy that this dance evokes a vivid scene of the battle between the eight-armed Goddess Durga and the demon king Mahishasura, rooted in Indian culture and tradition.

This dance reflects the folk traditions of the northeastern states. The young performers also performed Western dance very well. The students captivated the audience with their Broadway dance.

Leadership Commends Students; Festival Concludes with Encouraging Messages

At the end of the ceremony, the administrative committee honored the chief guest with a memento. In his address, the chief guest stated that the students’ impressive performances, including dramatic music and theatrical skits, have moved audiences for decades, and all the students and the team deserve congratulations.

Chief Guest Madam Ashika Jain stated that James Cambridge School and Vasal Education prepare students for future citizens through skill development. All the students captivated the audience with their captivating stage performances, dance, and music. Her message was that the tradition of celebrating victory and celebrating after defeat is always inspiring.

Principal Sangeeta Nistandar stated that the students participating in the event contributed significantly to the success of this annual festival through months of hard work and self-confidence. Principal Nistandar stated that approximately 1,000 students played a significant role in the annual commerce.

On this occasion, Vasal Education Chairman Mr. Sanjeev Vasal and CEO Mr. Raghav Vasal stated in a joint statement that the primary objective of their institution is to foster the holistic development of children in the field of education.

Mr. Sanjeev Vasal extended his best wishes to the children, teachers, and parents.
