Police say these accounts shared a video in which the identity of the minor was not concealed. Cyber ​​police are investigating the matter and action is being taken to remove the video from social media platforms.

Warning to Video Sharers

Jamui Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Dayal has appealed to people not to download, share, or repost the video. He stated that disclosing the identity of a minor is a legal offense and action will be taken against those who do so.

Police have appealed to people that if they receive this video, they should delete it instead of forwarding it and respect the privacy of the minor.

Action may be taken under POCSO

According to the police, revealing the identity of the minor victim could result in action under the POCSO Act and other legal provisions related to child protection.

Cyber ​​police are investigating the social media accounts from which the video was shared. Authorities are also contacting the relevant platforms to remove the content circulating online.

Investigation into Jamui incident continues

The action taken against social media accounts is part of a broader investigation into the incident involving two minor students in Jamui. The police have also formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter.

The police have appealed to the public not to share any photos or videos related to the identity of the minors on social media and to cooperate with the investigation.
