Chandigarh: Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes Chairman Jasvir Singh Garhi has resigned from his post. In a letter addressed to the relevant authorities, Garhi stated that he was submitting his resignation from the post of Chairman.

According to the letter, Garhi submitted his resignation on August 26, 2026, requesting that it be accepted. The resignation letter was issued from the office of the Chairman, Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes, at the Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 in Chandigarh.

In his letter, Garhi referred to the subject concerning his resignation from the Chairman’s post and requested the authorities to accept his resignation. The letter bears his signature as Jasvir Singh Garhi, Chairman, Punjab State Commission for Scheduled Castes.
