Jharkhand: Attempt to hurl petrol bomb at the Sangh office in Ranchi

An attempt was made to hurl a petrol bomb at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) office in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. However, no damage has been reported in the incident. Following the event, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation.

According to the Ranchi police, unidentified individuals targeted the RSS office by throwing petrol bombs. As the situation was brought under control in time, no major damage occurred.

Babulal Marandi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly and a former Chief Minister, described the incident as serious, stating that two individuals threw petrol bombs at the RSS office in the morning. According to him, the accused arrived in a car, accompanied by others on motorcycles.

Babulal Marandi termed the matter extremely serious, noting that it appeared preparations were being made for a major incident. He stated that he had also discussed the matter with the District Deputy Commissioner (DC). Currently, the police are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding area and attempting to identify the accused. The motive behind the incident has not yet been ascertained.
