Jhotta Murder Case: CM Mann Says All Legitimate Demands Accepted, Final Rites Decision Left to Family

Mansa: The protest by the family and the Action Committee regarding the murder of anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota in Mansa, Punjab, continued for the 14th day on Monday. The family and the committee are adamant on demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the DGP. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann stated that the government has accepted all the legitimate demands of the family and the Action Committee. The decision on when to conduct the last rites will now rest with the family or the committee.

On the other hand, on Monday morning, a CBI team raided the warehouses of two medical stores in the Veer Nagar locality of Mansa. The CBI team arrived in Mansa around 12 am on October 20 and has been continuously investigating the case since then.
