J&K Police Constable in Anantnag Felicitated for Tracing 3 Missing Minors

Srinagar: A police constable in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district was felicitated on Monday for tracing three minor girls who had gone missing and safely reuniting them with their families, an official statement said.

Constable Honoured for Swift Action

SSP Anantnag, Ashok Amod Nagpure, felicitated Constable Fayaz Ahmad for his role in tracing the three missing minor girls whose disappearance had triggered concern in the district.

Missing Girls Traced Within 24 Hours

The minors had gone missing from the Nunwani area of Brakpora, prompting an intensive search operation. The girls were later traced from Cafeteria Park in Achabal and safely reunited with their families.

Police teams, along with local volunteers, launched a coordinated search operation soon after the incident was reported. The girls were traced after nearly 24 hours of effort.

Officer Praised for Professionalism

During the felicitation, SSP Nagpure praised the constable’s dedication, alertness and professionalism, stressing the importance of quick response in cases involving missing children.

The successful recovery brought relief to the families and local residents who had been closely following the search operation before the minors were found safe.
