Illegal Drug Factory Busted in Jodhpur, Seizure Worth ₹3 Cr

Jodhpur, Rajasthan, April 3: In a major action against illegal narcotics, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) has busted a drug manufacturing unit in Jodhpur. During the raid, officials seized drugs and chemicals worth around ₹3 crore, exposing an illegal operation running at a significant scale.

Large Quantity of Drugs and Chemicals Recovered

Officials recovered over 30 kg of MD (mephedrone) along with more than 55 kg of chemicals used to produce synthetic drugs. The quantity seized suggests that the unit was actively involved in large-scale manufacturing and supply.

Synthetic drugs like MD are highly addictive and are often distributed through illegal networks across different states. Authorities believe the recovered material was meant for wider distribution.

Investigation Underway

Police have detained suspects and started an investigation to trace the network behind the operation. Officials are looking into possible links with interstate drug syndicates and identifying others involved in the supply chain.

Action Under NDPS Act

A case has been registered under the NDPS Act, and further raids are expected. Authorities said strict action will continue to curb illegal drug activities and dismantle such networks.
