‘Just wait and see’: Sonia Gandhi’s reaction on exit polls ahead of counting day

New Delhi: Congress Parliamentary Party chief Sonia Gandhi on Monday reacted on the exit polls day ahead of counting. Expressing confidence on Congres and INDIA bvloc, she said that she is hopeful that the actual results of the Lok Sabha elections will be completely opposite to the exit polls’ predictions.

“We have to wait. Just wait and see,” Sonia said when asked about the exit polls showing clear mandate to NDA and third term to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“We are hopeful that the results will be completely opposite to what the exit polls are showing”, said Sonia Gandhi on expectations from the results of Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The counting of votes is slated to be held on tomorrow on all seats.

Prediction by Exit Polls

Soon after the final phase of polling ended, Almost all exit polls predicted win for the BJP led NDA giving third term to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Majority mark of 272 is needed in favor to form the government at the Centre and almost every exit poll has given seats ranging between 350 to 400 to NDA.
