Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal to Take Oath as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court Today

Jaipur: Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal is set to take oath as the new Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Jaipur on Monday.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m., with Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde administering the oath of office and secrecy to Justice Agrawal.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, members of the state Cabinet, senior administrative officials and senior police officers are expected to attend the ceremony. Several senior members of the judiciary and state administration are also likely to be present.

Swearing-in ceremony at Raj Bhavan

Preparations for the ceremony have been completed at Raj Bhavan, with enhanced security arrangements put in place in view of the presence of senior constitutional functionaries, ministers and senior officials.

The ceremony marks an important development for the Rajasthan High Court as Justice Agrawal formally takes charge as its head.

Following the oath-taking, he is expected to assume responsibility for the judicial and administrative functioning of the state’s highest court.

Justice Agrawal to oversee judicial administration

As Chief Justice, Justice Sanjay Kumar Agrawal will play a key role in overseeing the functioning of the Rajasthan High Court and its judicial administration.

His responsibilities will include supervising administrative matters, ensuring the effective functioning of court proceedings and facilitating the efficient disposal of cases.

The Chief Justice also plays a central role in coordinating various aspects of the High Court’s judicial and administrative work.

New Chief Justice begins tenure

With the formal assumption of office, Justice Agrawal will begin his tenure as the head of the Rajasthan High Court.
