Jyoti Nooran family row: QR code, threats over treatment

An audio of Jyoti Nooran-Sultana Nooran, a Punjabi Sufi singer from Jalandhar, has emerged. In it, she is saying that someone will lose their life in the controversy that arose during her father’s treatment. Her sister Ritu has alleged that Jyoti is preventing the family from bringing this matter to the media that despite being a millionaire, she didn’t even go to check on her father.

Doctors advised a kidney transplant

It is noted that Jyoti and Sultana Nooran’s father, Gulshan Mir, has been in the hospital for more than 2 months due to kidney problems. The family claimed that doctors have advised a kidney transplant. This would cost between 1.5 to 2 million rupees.

On this, the family issued a QR code to ask people for help. The family alleges that Jyoti and her husband Usman alias Abhi objected to this and asked to delete the QR code.

Abuse was done on the phone, threatened – sister alleges

When the family said that we delete the QR code, first help your father, where will we get so much money from? Jyoti’s sister Ritu Nooran alleged that she was then abused over the phone, threatened and told to harm her brother.

On Wednesday, the sister-mother of the Noorani Sisters reached the police station.

When a dispute arose in the Noorani family regarding the health of Jalandhar’s famous Sufi singer Gulshan Mir and the funds being raised for his treatment, Ritu Noorani opened a front against her sisters (Noorani Sisters) and filed a complaint with the police.

On Wednesday, she reached the police station with her mother and stated that recently she had shared a video and QR code on social media seeking help from people. Many members of the family objected to this and were putting pressure to delete it.
