Mumbai, Maharashtra: Kapil Sharma has opened up about the much-awaited new season of “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” saying that Season 4 will bring a unique and refreshing flavour to comedy.

“Har baar lagta hai ki ab toh sab kar liya… lekin phir aapka pyaar aur umeed mujhe kuch naya karne ka rasta dikha deti hai,” he said, adding that fan expectations encouraged him to bring new characters along with audience-favourite ones. Kapil promised a comedic “mastiverse” on Netflix.

Teaser Unveiled, Season to Stream From December 20

On Wednesday, the makers officially announced Season 4. Sharing the teaser, Netflix wrote, “India ke mastiverse mein aapka swaagat hai… Watch the new season… streaming from 20th December, 8 pm, only on Netflix.”

Kapil will appear in fresh avatars such as GenZ Baba, Tau Ji, Raja, and Mantri Ji, adding a contemporary twist for viewers of all generations.

Star-Studded Lineup, New Characters, Global Guests

The upcoming season will feature a mix of World Cup champions, global icons, Gen Z stars, Bhojpuri personalities, and several unexpected guests, promising high entertainment value.

Tanya Bami, Series Head at Netflix India, expressed excitement: “The Great Indian Kapil Show is not just a show for us. It has begun to define family time and Netflix time for India and many Indians outside our country.”

Season 3 wrapped in September with Akshay Kumar as the finale guest. Just two months later, Kapil kick-started Season 4, sharing glimpses from the first day of shoot on social media.
