Kareena Kapoor admits she has always tried to live up to her mother Sharmila Tagore’s legacy

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor Khan on Monday took to social media to extend a heartfelt birthday wish to her mother-in-law and legendary actress Sharmila Tagore. Sharing a series of warm family moments on Instagram, Kareena expressed her admiration for Sharmila, saying she always tries to follow in her “amma’s footsteps.” She captioned the post simply, Happy birthday dearest Mother-in-law. One of the photos shows Saif Ali Khan posing with his mother as she lovingly cradles little Jeh in her arms. Another picture features Kareena walking alongside Sharmila, with a message written across the image that read, Always trying to follow in your footsteps.” The final frame captured a tender moment of Sharmila playing with her grandson in a park.
