Karnal accident: Woman killed after being hit by a trolley

Karnal: A horrific road accident occurred outside the Gharaunda bus stand in Haryana’s Karnal district on Wednesday afternoon. A speeding truck crushed an elderly woman riding a motorcycle. The woman died on the spot, while her grandson, who was riding the motorcycle, miraculously survived. The incident caused a sensation in the area, and a large crowd gathered at the scene.

How the accident happened

According to information received, the deceased woman has been identified as a resident of Kalram village. She had come to Gharaunda market with her grandson on a motorcycle to buy household items. While they were returning to their village after shopping that afternoon, an uncontrolled trolley coming from behind hit their bike near the Gharaunda bus stand. The impact was so severe that the woman was thrown and thrown under the trolley’s tires.

Died in front of grandson

According to eyewitnesses, the woman’s grandson was driving the bike at the time of the accident. The young man was in shock after seeing his grandmother die in front of his eyes. Upon receiving the information, family members rushed to the scene, weeping inconsolably. The entire village is in mourning after this incident.

Upon receiving the information, the Dial 112 team and local police arrived at the scene. The police took the body into custody and sent it to Kalpana Chawla Medical College for post-mortem.
