Karnal: A young man died under suspicious circumstances in the Karna Vihar area of ​​Karnal district. He was found unconscious near his bike. His family rushed him to various hospitals for treatment, but doctors declared him dead. Found unconscious on the morning of March 1

Sameer, alias Chhota, 30, of Vakilpura, Karnal, lived with his family in a rented house in Karna Vihar. According to family members, Sameer was found unconscious along with his bike in Karna Vihar on the morning of March 1st. Neighbours alerted his family. When family members arrived at the scene, he was found unconscious.

Family members took him to several hospitals

The family immediately admitted Sameer to Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal. From there, his condition worsened and he was referred to the PGI in Chandigarh. The family took him first to a private hospital in Karnal and then to another in Shahabad. Doctors there declared him dead after examining him late in the evening.

Injury marks raise suspicion

The family says that if it had been an accident, the bike would have been scratched and other injuries would have been visible on the body. However, a bruise was found on the back of Sameer’s head. The bike was also in good condition. This is why the family suspects this may not have been a road accident, but a pre-planned attack.

Family members said that Sameer had previously had conflicts with some people and had received threats. A case against him was also pending in court. The family believes he may have been targeted due to an old rivalry. They have demanded an impartial investigation into the matter.

Upon receiving the information, the ERV police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to the mortuary at Kalpana Chawla Medical College in Karnal. The ERV head constable stated that the young man was found unconscious and had a bruise on the back of his head.
