Karnal: Youth’s Body Found in Fields; Murder by Throwing Acid

Panic spread on Tuesday after the body of a young man was discovered in the fields. Acid had been thrown on the youth’s face, and marks of physical assault were found on his body.

The deceased’s family members have alleged that certain youths called him out of his home and murdered him due to an old rivalry. Upon receiving the information, the police immediately reached the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to the government hospital in Indri for a post-mortem examination. An investigation into the matter has been initiated.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Bobby, a resident of Churni Jagir village in the Indri region. His body was found lying in the fields near Nanhera village. Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning has engulfed the family, and the relatives were inconsolable with grief at the hospital.
According to the family members, on Monday morning, some youths from Sangoha village called Bobby out of his home and took him away with them.

Bobby had told his family that he was going nearby and would return shortly; however, he did not return home even late into the night. The family began searching for him, but no clues were found. On Tuesday afternoon, the police informed them that the body of a young man had been found lying in the fields near Nanhera village.
