New Delhi: In a major breakthrough in the fight against organized crime Anmol Bishnoi, brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, has been apprehended in California, USA. His arrest marks a significant milestone for Indian law enforcement, as he is linked to multiple heinous crimes and extortion networks.
Anmol was wanted in connection with the high-profile murders of politician Baba Siddique and Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, as well as an attempted shooting targeting Bollywood superstar Salman Khan at his residence. He has been a central figure in the Bishnoi syndicate, which is infamous for operating not only across India but also overseas.
Indian agencies, including the NIA, had announced a rupees ₹10 lakh reward for information leading to Anmol bishnoi’s arrest. His capture follows extensive coordination between international agencies and Indian authorities, with Mumbai Police actively pursuing extradition efforts.
