New Delhi: Intelligence agencies have issued a high-alert advisory over a possible Khalistani terror threat targeting temples and other sensitive public places in Delhi and Uttarakhand, prompting security agencies to step up surveillance and preventive measures across the two regions.

According to intelligence inputs, temples, crowded public places, government establishments, railway stations and police installations have been identified as potential targets. While there is no confirmation of any imminent attack, security agencies have intensified vigil as a precautionary measure.

Security Tightened at Sensitive Locations

Following the intelligence alert, police and security personnel have increased deployment at sensitive locations, particularly places of worship and high-footfall public areas.
