4 Khalistani Terrorists Arrested with RDX Explosives in Hoshiarpur, Punjab

Punjab Police on Thursday evening announced the arrest of five operatives of the banned outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) in Amritsar and Hoshiarpur, effectively dismantling two terror modules. A large cache of arms, ammunition, and RDX-based explosives was recovered from multiple locations across the state.

RDX-Based IED and Pistols Seized in Hoshiarpur
In Hoshiarpur, four BKI operatives were apprehended, and police recovered an RDX-based improvised explosive device weighing nearly 2.5 kg, along with two pistols. Authorities said the arrested individuals are part of an ISI-backed terror network controlled by handlers based in the USA.

Imminent Attack Averted in Amritsar
In a separate operation in Amritsar, police foiled a planned attack on a security establishment by arresting a BKI operative. Officers recovered a hand grenade, a sophisticated pistol, and ammunition from him.

Police: Operatives Acting Under Foreign Directions
Punjab Police Chief Gaurav Yadav stated that all arrested operatives were operating under the guidance of foreign-based handlers. Further investigations into the terror network are ongoing.
