Khalsa Aid Rescues 5 Punjab Youths; Emotional Homecoming as Families Reunite

In Jalandhar, thanks to the continuous efforts of the globally renowned organization ‘Khalsa Aid’ for humanity and selfless service, five young men from Punjab who were stuck in Lebanon have been safely brought back to India. These youths were caught in Lebanon’s extremely unstable and challenging environment due to the rising tensions between the U.S. and Iran.

Khalsa Aid prioritized this serious matter and coordinated excellently with the Indian government, former Foreign Secretary and current Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu, and the Indian Embassy in Beirut (Lebanon). After completing all legal and necessary procedures, the safe return of these five young men to their homeland became possible.

They were waiting to return home amid unstable conditions.

Khalsa Aid trustee Jaspreet Singh Dahia shared details of the entire rescue operation in a press conference. He mentioned that the youths returning included Karam Singh (Patiala), Dalbir Singh (Jalandhar), Harjinder Kumar (Jalandhar), Jaspreet Singh (Patiala), and Vichitra Singh (Hoshiarpur). Due to the increased international tensions in the region, like many other foreign nationals, these young men from Punjab were facing extremely tough conditions there and had been looking forward to returning home for a long time.

Khalsa Aid and Taranjit Singh Sandhu’s efforts bore fruit
After facing obstacles in their attempts to return home, the youths shared their troubles, following which Khalsa Aid immediately took charge. Jaspreet Singh Dahia explained that as soon as he got the information from the organization’s head Ravi Singh, he immediately contacted India’s former Foreign Secretary and current governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu without wasting any time.

With the special assistance of Tarnjeet Singh Sandhu, immediate necessary coordination was established between the Government of India and the Indian Embassy in Beirut, clearing the way for the return of the youth.

Emotional young man meets loved ones, expresses gratitude
After reaching Safe India, the eyes of all the young people and their families filled with joy. They sincerely thanked Khalsa Aid, Ravi Singh, Jaspreet Singh Dahia, the Indian Embassy, and Tarnjit Singh Sandhu. The youth said that if these efforts hadn’t been made at the right time, they might never have reunited with their families. In Lebanon’s tense environment, they were mentally broken and losing hope of returning home, but the support of the organization kept their spirits up.
