Two school buses collided due to fog on Kharar Kurali Road in Mohali. Five children, including the drivers of both buses, were injured in the accident. All were immediately taken to the hospital. One of the bus drivers broke his leg in the accident, while the other driver needed six stitches on his head. Three children were injured in the accident. Two of them have been discharged from the hospital, while one is under observation.
Accident due to Dense Fog
According to reports, the accident took place in the morning when there was dense fog, due to which the bus drivers had difficulty in seeing. St. Ezra and DPS buses collided. After the accident, the staff of both schools reached the spot. However, there is no news of any loss of life.
Dense fog has engulfed Punjab and Chandigarh. According to the Meteorological Department, such dense fog will continue for several days. Due to this, visibility will be reduced significantly.
