Khatu Shyamji Guest House Attacked, Staff Members Beaten by Group of Men

Sikar: An incident involving vandalism and the assault of staff members has come to light at a guest house in Khatushyamji, Sikar. The perpetrators involved in the assault also operate guest houses themselves.

As they were leaving, they issued threats, warning that if the police were informed, they would ensure the guest house could no longer operate.

They boasted that the police could do nothing to harm them, as they pay regular bribes (known as ‘bandhi’) to the police force. An ongoing dispute appears to exist between the two parties involved. A video of the assault has also surfaced.

Internal Dispute Among Guest House Operators

Harphool Bijarniya, a resident of Khatushyamji, stated that he owns and operates the ‘Shri Krishnam Guest House’ located on Dataramgarh Road. At 5:23 AM this morning, a group of 8 to 10 individuals arrived in a camper vehicle.

The occupants of the camper included Sunil Sharma, Dipendra Jalpani Chaudhary, Karan Singh, Jitu Burdak, Harish, Parikshit, Gopal Sharma, Ankit Punia, and others. All of these individuals operate their own guest houses, specifically ‘Prabhat Palace,’ ‘Shyam Baba Palace,’ and ‘Yuvraj Guest House.’

Threats Issued After the Assault

These individuals assaulted Gajraj and Sameer, who were seated inside the guest house, using sticks and iron rods. They snatched the gold chain Gajraj was wearing around his neck. They also stole mobile phones, a laptop, and the cash kept in the guest house’s cash box before fleeing the scene. They physically assaulted them, remarking, “How do you expect to run a guest house?” They also vandalized the office. They threatened to kill both individuals and hurled caste-based slurs at them.
