Virat Kohli’s Unbeaten 105 Powers RCB to 6 Wicket Win Over KKR

Bengaluru: Virat Kohli produced a masterclass unbeaten century to guide Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a commanding six-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2026 on Wednesday.

Chasing a challenging target of 193 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kohli anchored the innings brilliantly with an unbeaten 105 off 60 balls, helping RCB reach the target in 19.1 overs and climb to the top of the points table.

Kohli’s innings was laced with elegant strokeplay and crucial boundaries as he controlled the chase from start to finish. He received support from the middle order after RCB lost early wickets during the run chase.

Earlier, KKR posted 192/4 in their 20 overs, largely powered by a fine knock of 71 from Angkrish Raghuvanshi. The visitors maintained a strong scoring rate throughout the innings, but RCB bowlers managed to restrict further damage in the death overs.

Despite picking up three wickets for KKR, Kartik Tyagi could not prevent Bengaluru from sealing an important victory in front of their home crowd.

The win strengthened RCB’s playoff push and moved the side to the top position in the IPL 2026 standings.
