By promoting crop diversification and groundnut cultivation in Hoshiarpur district, she provided farmers with an opportunity to break free from traditional and monotonous crop cycles. This initiative not only made farmers’ livelihoods more secure and profitable but also ensured the long-term productivity of the land. Komal Mittal firmly believes that the true development of society remains incomplete unless women and girls are equal and active participants in it. With this perspective, she organized large-scale, empowering programs for girls that focused on skill development, confidence building, and leadership capabilities.
