Female ASI Held for Accepting Bribe in Fatehabad; Woman Broker Also Nabbed

After Tohana in Fatehabad district, a case of bribery has now come to light at Bhattu police station. The team of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jind has arrested Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Talwinder Kaur, posted at Bhattu police station, red-handed on charges of taking a bribe of Rs 35,000. Along with him, a woman named Kasturi Devi, who was playing the role of a middleman, has also been nabbed.

The ACB team took both of them with them to the Fatehabad office, where they will be interrogated. In which case both have been arrested, it is not clear at the moment.

Let us tell you that on yesterday (Monday), SI Mahendra, working at Tohana Sadar police station, was also arrested red-handed by the ACB while taking a bribe of 35 thousand rupees. The SI had demanded Rs 72,000 by going to Rahul’s house in the name of settling the case of Rahul, who was caught in the fake roadways pass case.

ASI Talwinder Kaur was working at Bhattu police station for the last one year. On Tuesday afternoon, she was in the police station and was posted as an IO in the women’s cell. At that time, the station in-charge and other policemen had gone out. Meanwhile, the ACB team arrived and caught him red-handed with Rs 35,000. Along with this, a woman named Kasturi Devi, who was playing the role of a middleman, was also nabbed.

The demand was made in the name of settlement in the case

According to police sources, the case is of demanding a bribe in the name of settling the case. ASI Talwinder Kaur had demanded a bribe in the name of settlement in the case through middlewoman Kasturi Devi. The complainant was dealt with for Rs 35,000. On Tuesday, he was called to Bhattu police station.
