Police Commissionerate Jalandhar bust the interstate arms smuggling network

Punjab : Police Commissionerate in Jalandhar has busted the interstate arms smuggling network of Landa Gang.

Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma said on Sunday that the police have arrested three associates of gangster Lakhbir Singh Landa involved in arms smuggling. Police have recovered 17 weapons and 33 magazines purchased with Hawala money.

Lakhbir Landa is being investigated by NIA. Lakhbir Landa is involved in many terrorist incidents in Punjab. Gangster Lakhbir Landa is a resident of Tarn Taran district. He fled abroad in 2017.He was the main leader of the attack. According to the police, the wires of this said network are connected to Canada.

Criminal cases like extortion, extortion, weapons, kidnapping etc. have been registered against gangster Landa in different police stations of Punjab.
