Kapurthala: 3 miscreants looted 40 lakh rupees at gunpoint from HDFC Bank located on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur Highway in Kapurthala, Punjab. 3 robbers came to the bank in a car. As soon as they arrived, the robbers pointed pistols at the bank employees. In no time, one of the robbers threatened to shoot the bank employee and asked him to take out the money from the locker.
Police will take details from bank employees
According to information received from sources, the police will take details from the bank employees about the amount looted by the robbers. Immediately after the robbery, SP Phagwara Rupinder Kaur Bhatti reached the spot. SP Bhatti said that information about the robbery has been received. The police has started investigation on the spot. Three robbers had come in a car and they had guns.
He said that the bank employees are not clearing the looted amount yet, as soon as it is cleared, further information will be shared.
Police engaged in CCTV investigation
Let us tell you that the police is scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the bank and the surrounding roads so that the criminals can be located. Since the case is suspicious, the police is also questioning the bank employees. Mobile dumps will be taken from the area and checked to find out which mobile numbers were active in the area at the time of the incident.
