Amritsar Police commissionerate busts drug module, arrests 12 with heroin, pistol and drug money

Continuing efforts to eradicate illegal activities from border areas of Punjab, Punjab Police had achieved great success by arresting 12 accused in cross border drug and weapon network.

According to the post shared by DGP Punjab Police, In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police busts a cross-border drug and weapon network by arresting 12 accused, including key associate Manjeet Singh alias Bhola, who is in contact with Pakistan based smugglers. Recovers 2.192 kgs Heroin, 3 sophisticated pistols (.30 Bore, including 2 automatics), ₹2.6 lakh in drug money, and a fortuner car. An FIR under the NDPS Act has been registered at PS Chheharta. Further investigations are ongoing to uncover the entire network.

Punjab Police is further working to eradicate these network indulge in smuggling of drugs and weapons.
